John has been our trusted realtor for over 10 years now. He helped my purchase my first ever condo downtown back in 2011, and again just a few months ago he helped sell that same condo (for an amazing bully offer price) as well as help us purchase our first detached home for our growing family. As a buying agent, when it finally came time to say goodbye to the downtown Toronto condo life and look for a detached home, there was no hesitation that John was our first choice to represent us. John was knowledgeable, patient, flexible, and just an absolute joy to work with again. He had our best interests in mind, gave us his honest opinions on every property we looked at (the good, the bad, and the ugly), and persisted along side us despite a handful of painful outbids scenarios. In the end, he helped us find the PERFECT house for our wants and needs, and he assertively made sure we had the very best chance at success for the best possible price, and months later we can't stop grinning having settled into our new home. As a selling agent, he took the time to inform us what types of renovations we may want to consider doing to the condo before selling to get the best price. We took every piece of advice, and were able to transform our little penthouse condo into a gorgeously refreshed living space for just the cost of raw materials (John also gave us the tips and confidence to perform all renos ourselves!). His sales and pricing strategy put us in a position to accept a bully offer $100K over asking price, we were over the moon with the results. If you're looking for a realtor with decades of knowledge of the greater Toronto real estate landscape, a tireless work effort, and the keenest of eyes to discern between a gem versus a dud, you cannot go wrong working with John.

John helped me and my partner buy our first home! He made the difficult process of buying a house in a sellers market amazing by being extremely encouraging, knowledgable, and taught us an immense amount about finding and owning a home. We are both extremely thankful that we picked John to help us find a home we can grow into and build a family in :)

Can't say enough good things about working with John. I contacted him about a year ahead of selling my condo because I knew I wanted to go with him after seeing one of his recent sales. In the months leading up to the listing, John was always extremely responsive and helpful in every way, even helping to advise on renovation decisions. When it came time to listing, John went above and beyond the call to stage my condo, even down to minor stylistic changes that helped to improve the place. He has a great eye for detail, and the ability to recommend improvements that are low-cost but high-impact. The staging was exceptional, as were his media work and advertising, all of which helped to attract a huge number of showings. The final result was much better than I had hoped for. As if that weren't enough, John is a great communicator, very friendly and really a pleasure to work with. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

I've used John to buy and sell four properties now and I don't plan on changing that anytime soon. His knowledge of the Toronto area is unparalleled (right down to every little "sub-pockets" of each neighbourhood), which gives you, as his customer, great trust when he tells you a place is worth seeing (or sometimes, *not* seeing!). When you do go see a house with him, you'd think he was an interior decorator AND contractor (he does sort of moonlight as both) because he's always full of insightful suggestions on what a property can be (as well things you might not notice about what it is). He does an impeccable job of painting a vision, which also comes in major handy when staging a place for sale - a service he completely takes care of for you - too! Most importantly, you'll never doubt for a second that he's working in YOUR best interest. John is hyper personable, detail-oriented, always reachable, and will never ever push you to buy or sell in a rush. When you do decide to pull the trigger, he'll fight tooth and nail for you. Not only did he help us get our house for less than asking (in this crazy circa. 2022 market!) but he also helped us sell our million-dollar condo for well OVER asking! He's a consummate professional and I really feel I lucked out finding him as our real-estate agent. Would rate a 6/5 if Google allowed it.
