Riviera on the Bow

Two years ago I was considering buying a suite at Riviera on the Bow. However they were very expensive so I decided to rent instead. The good news- I didn't buy. The bad news- I rented. Within two days, I regretted my decision. I could hear every footstep of the person living above. Many mornings I would be woken up at 6 or 7, either by garbage trucks or snowblowers! No wonder all of the suites on the lower lever in the back remain unsold. The air conditioning was awful, it never got below 24 degrees in my unit! The security there sorely lacks. The building was broken into twice while I lived there. The last time $14,000 worth of damage was caused to my truck. Not only would they not cover my deductable, they charged me $30 for my key card that was locked in my truck, a truck that was broken into because of their poor security!!! Rani Kazmi was just awful to deal with. Whenever I had an issue or concern she would conveniently ignore me. When I moved in my deck was filthy, she wouldn't respond to my emails to clean it. When I moved out they charged me to clean it!! I would avoid this building at all costs, there is a reason so many units remain unsold. It was so noisy and uncomfortable there I actually turned over my unit 7 weeks early(which was fully paid). Of course I received no credit for that. Only a deduction of almost $200 for cleaning and the security card. Unbelievable, no ethics from this company!! Avoid the Riviera on the Bow and DaVinci homes!!!! Richard C

I have been renting at Riviera on the Bow since September 2020. My move-in went very smoothly. The building is gorgeous. I love the lobby with the chandeliers and wall art. It is bright and open. I rent a unit towards the back on the main floor and it is very quiet and peaceful. Renting a unit on the main floor gives me the best of both worlds - I can walk in and out from unit to the outside; it's like living in a bungalow. I would recommend anyone looking for a beautiful unit close to the hospital or the university look at renting or owning here.

Ever since my move to this place, I have experienced a very positive and pleasant life here. The staff members are very kind and helpful with prompt attention to occasional (minor) problems. Overall, this location is excellent--within a short distance of the Bow River and proximity to a variety of restaurants, cafes etc. My friends and visitors have invariably commented on the impressive building design, the safety/security features and the maintenance of common areas and grounds.
