Tippet-Richardson Moving & Storage

This company essentially held my friends belongings for months, demanding more and more money for 'storage fees', even though they were the ones who kept having issues and kept not sending their items. This left my friend and her family without anything for nearly 5 months, with her kids sleeping on the floor, and completely unequipped for winter. This could have been handled in a much better way, with clear communication, rather then the endlessly misleading promises used as a way to extract more money over and above the agreed upon amount.

We recently used Tippet Richardson for a cross country move. The move was fine but they damaged a chair in the process. After filing a claim with them, there was radio silence from the representatives. Two months of ignored follow-ups from our end through emails, phone messages, voicemails, and broken promises of 'someone will call you by end of day' later we are still chasing the company for a response. Completely unreliable customer service and unprofessional behavior. You better hope they do not mess your items up or it will never get resolved or will be handled incompetently.
