    This business is top notch and extremely professional. We've been employing Mountain Mamas Cleaning Services for the past year to maintain our condo in Canmore, AB while we reside (most of the year) away in Los Angeles, CA. We needed to have a company that cared and would take care of our place weekly as if we were in town and could do it ourselves. I have a very high expectation of quality having another rental property in the U.S. with over 150 Five-Star reviews. Mountain Mamas is a family run company with very personal service. Not only do they provide excellent cleaning services, but they're there 24/7 should we need a handyman, a delivery taken to the condo and countless other needs that come up when running a vacation rental property. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Lloyd and Meghan are super. You can put them to work for you without hesitation.!

    We hired Mountain Mamas in October 2019 to clean our three busy AirBNB vacation homes in Canmore after being promised by the owner (Lloyd) that they were top notch and professional. Our initial cleans with this company were of decent quality and working with the manager (Lloyds daughter Meghan) was off to a good start. We have agreed upon the protocol for each clean, and for the first month it went well. Things took a serious nose dive in early 2020 when we arrived to check one of our units after a clean and we were absolutely disgusted at what we arrived to - the kitchen was a mess, the floors were covered in food and dirt, and the bathroom taps were crusted with water stains - it was evident that the condo was barely cleaned and many areas were missed. We immediately raised it with Meghan ( so she would be aware of what low quality work her staff had performed)and her response was rude and unprofessional - she blatantly denied that could have occurred and said it was impossible as she cleaned the unit herself. She also tried to say that someone must have broken in and stayed there and made the mess - what?!! After multiple attempts to have her view the issues in person, her and Lloyd arrived and it turned out Meghan had indeed cleaned our unit and left it in that unacceptable state - Lloyd asked Meghan reclean the condo, which we appreciated and thanked them multiple times for (we still even paid them for this clean). Meghan would barely look at us when we thanked her and instead proceeded to begrudgingly reclean. From that point forward Meghan was rude, dismissive and completely unprofessional to interact with on our cleans. Subsequent cleans were not done to the standard agreed to. Half the time Meghan would claim she forgot to push send on the clean confirmations, and we had guests literally standing outside the door of our unit waiting to get in while we were frantically trying to get a hold of Meghan as was the agreed upon policy that our unit was indeed ready to go. It appears that Meghan was retaliating and essentially throwing a tantrum because we raised issues with one of her cleans. Meghan was increasingly rude and aggressive in her responses to our inquiries from that point forward, and she even demanded we pay her immediately for bills which were not due for 7 days. We complied with her demands - and after Meghans repeated demands for early payment of our invoice, my wife, who still was in the hospital after giving birth to our daughter, paid Meghan just to get her to stop harassing for early payment. Meghan showed complete and utter disrespect for us and our business when she knowingly demanded payment occur 12 hours after my wife gave birth, during Covid-19, and when she was still in the hospital recovering from childbirth. Her conduct was utterly unprofessional and unacceptable. Every single interaction with Meghan for the last three months has been difficult - frankly, Im not surprised half of their staff quit (as we were told today by Llyod). If she treats her staff as poorly and unprofessionally as she does her clients, I dont blame them for not wanting to work for her. We would caution heavily anyone looking to hire Mountain Mamas for your AirBNB cleans - they will talk a good talk initially to get your business, but clearly are not capable of professional business conduct once they have your business. We have taken our business elsewhere and would not recommend this company. EDIT - we discovered they are using a quick "rinse and spin" instead of a full laundry cycle. We could not believe that a cleaning company would sacrifice cleanliness and sanitation and use a 15 minute quick cycle to "wash" laundry - we were absolutely disgusted to find out that they felt this was appropriate service to offer our paying guests. Turns out our guests have been provided "rinsed" sheets and towels that were not even properly laundered. They also claim to spend two hours cleaning your unit and charge you for such - our timed locks indicate they were in the unit for no more than an hour.

    I live in Hong Kong and have owned a Condo in Canmore for many years which I have rented out through various methods. However it has always been an administrative burden and frustrating to manage the process. Fortunately in 2018 I was lucky enough to be recommended Mountain Mamas and they have proven a game changer. Initially they provide me advise on how to set up my unit so that it was competitive in the rental market to make the guests experience in Canmore a good one. Following their advice we set up a structure and agreement and we went live. I have had an amazingly successful two years which have far exceeded my expectations. My unit has been incredibly well looked after and my guest experience rating has gone up to 5.0 on Airbnb with the vast majority of clients commenting on the cleanness of the property. Every clean has been performed promptly and we have never had a delay of any form. Mountainmamas take care of all product restocking and have been incredibly helpful in dealing with those small annoying house issues that arise unexpectedly like minor repairs that need dealing with quickly. They have great local relationships with local technicians such as plumbers so can get problems solved very quickly. In addition, whenever guests have had any problems during check in or during their stay at the unit the team have offered excellent support as I cannot deal with clients being overseas. No matter what time of day or night they deal with the client's issues. My overall rating which has gone up has attracted more bookings year on year so it is a very profitable partnership. I cannot rate Mountain Mamas higher and highly recommend their team. Patrick.
