High Country Framing and Art Gallery

We submitted an heirloom fabric for framing that our son had made in pre-school 30 yrs ago. We received a phone call and when my wife went down to see Bruno, he presented her with the item which had been painted over and totally ruined. Bruno claimed he had no idea how this happened - even though it was solely in his trust and care. Obviously he had allowed others (children?) into his shop and allowed them access to it and allowed them to paint over it and ruin it. Very disappointing to say the least. We have used Bruno in the past and been happy with the results, but never again. Thanks for destroying this memory. Follow-up reply: Saw your response. Unlikely we have forgotten what a picture we have hung on the wall for the past 30 years looks like. We had hoped to preserve it. The original picture, a series of hand prints in paint that formed the shape of a Christmas wreath had been painted over by larger children's handprints mimicking the original. The original prints could be seen through the new paint. Our picture had not been protected and had been allowed to be painted over while in your care and control. End of story.

The owner is very friendly and knowledgable. He has a huge selection of frame, matting and glass options, and was able to do a custom frame (with pieces order in) in only a few days. His work was excellent and I found the prices very comparable for such work. I'd definitely bring my patronage here again.

This guy is great! Has a good eye and is super friendly. Loads of options.
