        Our family loves staying at the castlegar sandman, the kids really love the pool :) The staff are very friendly, Sherril at the front desk reception was especially kind and helpful towards my kids and dog! Nice stopover on our way to visit family.

        + Good location and easy parking. - We have a small dog which was fine, but they assigned us to the oldest dirtiest room we have seen in a long time. The two arm chairs looked like they were 40 years old and had never been cleaned. The hotel is so old and worn out that it should be torn d

        The place definitely needs to be refreshed. Also they took a $100.00 damage deposit and was told that it would be returned when checking out. The room was approved, and they said that the money had to be returned by the credit card co. This is a real rip off since someone has the use of my money for a period of time to make interest on. Will not stay here again
