Had a phone consult with Debbie at the Vancouver branch (office?) and couldn't get ahold of her after that initial call. It was really disappointing to have someone be so keen on my project and all the support she would provide only to have her ghost. Contacted another builder who I didn't realize was affiliated and was also brushed off on account of being "Debbie's" customer. When I explained what happened I received a flimsy excuse (you unsubscribed from the promo emails so emails from linwood will all "bounce") that was honestly pretty insulting. Communication and maintaining relationships is a pretty important element of doing business. It's a shame they're having such a hard time with it.

This is the second time that I have used Linwood Custom Homes for materials purchasing having had such a great experience with the first. Conceptualization, design, planning, delivery were all done seamlessly and to my complete satisfaction. This time around however, we only received 80% of the materials needed to complete the house framing. The custom painted pine soffits were also 50% defective and had to be replaced / refinished onsite costing 10s of thousands in additional expenses. Cost savings appear no longer there (pending claim status for but a small portion of the incurred loss), as they had been in the past. Shop local. Service: Custom log homes

Brad Grindlers design was riddled with problems that he wanted no part of solving. Me and my wife were absolutely fleeced from start to finish. He aggressively pushed Yager construction said they have done multiple projects and he works well. What a disaster. Aaron Yager is so bad it's hard to describe. This job is 3 years over time frame and four times over budget. We absolutely hate the house. Nothing we wanted got built into the house that we requested. Brad and Aaron Yager are so useless it's destroyed our lives and our health. I wanted Bill Mascott to go over this with me and not even a phone call. I'll try Allan Guest.
