Sandman Inn Kamloops

Meant to go to the hotel next door for the cheaper prices and free breakfast, bit this hotel was noce as well. Service when i first came in was noce, and i was immediately greeted by Aman (i believe) even though it was my first time booking, she was super nice even when i was nervous or being awkward. Rooms were a little expensive compared to the hotel i meant to go to (150$ compared to 80-90$ i think) but everything was lovely. Aman and preet i think got into a little bit of an argument, but there wasnt anything nasty, just a little bit of a disagreement it seemed, and that i dont mind as it happens to everyone, not to mention they didnt want it to be on full display as they wernt speaking english, and were trying to be quiet about it. Only thing i didnt like about the hotel was the location, and there were these three ladys, one in perticular, she kept commenting on how i was upset bc i was getting stood up (i didnt he just takes the bus and they were taking forever) and was over all very nosy and trying to get under my skin which was rlly annoying. But other than that everything was great! Rooms: Good selection, the one next door im not so sure about Nearby activities: Dennys was nice, was able to eat out which was nice Walkability: Short walk from the exchange (which was good the number 6 was taking forever) Food & drinks: No free breakfast

This hotel is definitely in need of a renovation, or to be rebuilt from the ground upit is very tired. Room was clean, but the area was very noisy. The hotel is not in the nicest part of town, so expect to come across some undesirables. I was passing through on business and only here for one night, so not a big deal. Preet, the site manager, was very courteous, helpful and polite.

We checked for two nights and preet and aman helped us to get best room with easy access as we have baby. They also were helpful to do late checkout cause baby was sleeping. Thank you.
