We highly recommend Lake Country Log Homes!!! We began our search for log home companies many years ago and contacted quite a few. Throughout those years, before ever receiving any money, Jamie and team would continually answer our questions and were very easy going. This went on for years. When we were finally able to proceed with the project, they were extremely patient and accommodating as we made multiple changes to the original design throughout the process. See the "Lake Placid" on their website for the final design. Jamie answered all of our questions throughout and put as at ease. Jamie, Rob and team were great to work with from the beginning all the way through the installation (tell Hugh we said Hi!!!). We had a difficult building site but their crew worked with our builder and resolved all issues. The western red cedar logs exceeded our (very high) expectations in terms of size and character. The craftsmanship is 2nd to none. If you are in the market for a log home, do yourself a great service and make sure you at least look into and contact Lake Country Log Homes, they will not disappoint. Keith Adirondacks NY

In 2020, Lori and I began to inquire about a cabin for our lot on Sugar Lake, BC. We always dreamed of a log cabin but unsure of our budget. The first call was to Lake Country Log Homes which happened to be within an hour drive from our house. Meeting Jamie, Rob and Joe on our first fact finding mission, we left knowing that, if we could have a log cabin, it would be with LCLH. By now the Covid pandemic was in full swing, global uncertainy, supply shortages and general chaos was the norm. Throughout the planning, design and finally having the logs installed, Jamie was always calming, professional and very thorough. He was great with follow ups and answers during construction when needed. At 765 sq ft per floor, our cabin is small compared to most projects LCLH are involved in. Our cedar logs seemed larger and more beautiful than we had expected. Very impressive! Lori and I would like to thank Jamie, Rob, Joe for their professionalism, craftmanship and obvious pride of workmanship. Awesome!
