The only reason i am giving 2 stars is because Dr. Puts is extremely kind and helpful. Otherwise, I would give 0 stars. My goodness, what a dehumanizing experience. The receptionist with the short reddish hair is ridiculously rude. She doesnt give anyone time to explain anything and talks to patients with a condescending rude tone. Its so hard to have a conversation with her without your stomach turning because shes so ugly when she speaks. After mask mandates have been lifted she still demands everyone to have a mask on and is extremely rude about it. When you walk up to the window you are asked to read off your care card or personal health number and what you are here for while in front of a bunch of other patients, there is no privacy or confidentiality consideration at all. Its a shame that this lady has not been fired yet because she makes the whole experience completely unbearable. If you hate your job that much, retire. No human deserves to be treated that way when accessing health care. Shame on you. Dr. Whites receptionist at least greats you with a smile, treats you with dignity and respect and is discreet, unlike the other lady..

The receptionist here has the worst communication skills I have ever seen with a frontline worker absolutely this woman needs to be fired. I have no idea how she could possibly still hold a job. She literally made my five year old diabetic daughter cried her eyes out then after I finally got her calm down after an hour, she stopped crying. The lady turned around and purposely said something snarky to her to make her start crying again truth be told if it was her mother there instead of me this lady would have got knocked the f&$? out

My daughter and granddaughter waited for and hour and a half and was turned turned away beacause her phn address didn't say Port Alberni. Daughter's addy was correct ,both are BC residents and she is the child's mother. Also, receptionist could use a lesson in talking to children. Terrible!
