Staying here in Vernon for the very first time. My friend booked the room for me. The front desk lady CHAITALI was incredibly welcoming and helpful. She made me feel at ease and comfortable. Thank you for this warm welcome.

Chaitali violated my personal property. One evening as I walked into the lobby, she called me over to the front desk. She had a QR code at the desk and asked me to scan it. When I took out my phone she informed me that it worked better on her side of the counter. She proceeded to grab my phone out of my hands, scan the code, give herself full stars on the review, then handed me back my phone with instructions to write whatever, it doesnt matter. I felt extremely violated and threatened by the exchange. I wrote my initial review out of a fear, not free will. I reported her conduct to management while I was checking out. Management told me that her conduct was inappropriate and offered an apology. However, the coerced review was still posted. I am appalled at the lack of respect and professionalism demonstrated by the staff at the Sandman hotel. I will never return to this establishment, and will be recommending that ALL others do the same.
