I spoke with Adam on a Friday about booking a charter on Sunday and he was able to accommodate me. Sorry to Temple if he was planning to have a day off. What an incredible trip! Temple took us out to the area south of Victoria. This man knows where fish live. It felt like he called ahead to the fish to let them know he was bringing some prairie folk out so be sure to have salmon on hand and ready to bite. And did they ever. We bagged our limit in maybe four hours, dock to dock. And as I understand it, this was at the end of chinook salmon season, so all the more incredible that he was able to hook us up (ha!). Top off that champion performance with some Orcas popping up just a hundred feet off the boat, the incredible weather and sea conditions, and Temple's friendly demeanour, and it was a tremendous experience. I'm sure there are other charters with boats and nice captains and all the rest--but Temple, man--that cat knows where fish live.
