This guy went to my property twice. Couldn't follow basic instructions said he was going to do work never did the work. Wasted 2 weeks of my life in this process, his excessive and ridiculous delays likely have caused injuries at this point. I would have gladly paid him extra to actually do his job. What an absolute waste of time. Do not use this appraiser he's got so much on his plate he can't even do his job.

They were more interested in our belongings than actually doing a property assessment. They outright lied stating that I told them to come to our home whenever they like, unscheduled or scheduled because I'm always home. The problem with that, is that I was sitting with our local CIBC branch when I left him voicemail and received his messages. Luckily with Shaw, they keep all phone messages to your home number for up to a year. We were leaving that weekend for my Husband's medical treatments in Vancouver as he is a heart transplant patient and is rejecting his heart. We scheduled for them to enter our home while we were away and our 22 year old daughter would be home. We live in 100 Mile House and our daughter said they were extremely unfriendly and rude from the start. We were borrowing money to fix contractor jobs that went terribly wrong. We have no closets or cupboards with shelves currently. We had an approval in place and signed. After fighting with these appraisers, because the 350$ bill tried to be put through for 420$ because he said he made a wasted trip. That was an outright lie. I have his messages to this day saved, as I fully intend to pursue this in a court of law...he groups his visits to 100 Mile House to a few each time to save on his fuel and travel. The problem with that, is that he bills each person a full trip and then lies about wasted trips to charge 2 or 3 times. After writing him an email, that I would get our lawyers involved, he took it back to the original price and released it to the bank. Unfortunately, when he released it, the appraisal came in 15000$ less than our property assessment that we have been paying taxes on to the District of 100 Mile House for 6 years now. The property assessment without our house came to 310,000$ that we pay taxes on. His appraisal came in at 295,000$ and he told them our home looked like a hoarders home. Did I mention we were taken by contractors and we're borrowing to rectify everything. In the end we lost our deal because he came in lower and took the worst pictures imagineable. He was angry over the extra trip being proven differently and he submitted the worst report he could. DON'T TRUST THEM! BEWARE! Crooked people......Do yourself the biggest favor in the Cariboo and track down Roman from Lac Lahache....you won't be sorry!
