International Peace Garden

It's nice but I am a bit frustrated that it still costs $25 in the off season. I came day after Victoria Day so right before Memorial Day for USA. Two major starts to "summer" in Canada and USA but it was a ghost town. Observatory cacti was closed off. Cafe closed. Flowers not yet installed for season. Really frustrating to pay that much and to not have more of that front and center on webpage or even before I consented to enter for a steep price. Picnic area: Several areas around to picnic

Cafe, conservatory & gift shop closed. Nothing blooming yet. They are low staffed. When I pulled in there was no one working the stand so I had to scrounge up the only $25 cash I had and put it in the envelope. Hope I did it right - That process was kind of confusing. Lots of construction in one of the parking lots for the sunken garden too. It was okay to walk around, quiet, but not worth $25.
