I went to Stokes hearing in 2019 for my first ever hearing aids. I was told I could trial the hearing aids for a month, but within 2 weeks Jeff Stokes was asking for full payment of $5,800. I later I found out from friend is a rather steep price compared to others. I received no follow up call or appointments. I was having squealing in one hearing aid and could not notice any difference with my hearing. They suggested I come in and have someone look at them (a two hour drive). When I arrived, they were too busy to see me so the receptionist cleaned them for me, which did not help. After two years of wearing these hearing aids, I finally went to Murray Smiths Hearing Care Centre in Brandon and he told me these hearing aids were never adjusted to my specific hearing needs and I had really just been wearing them at my original hearing level. Since he did not have the specific equipment to adjust this brand of hearing aid he suggested I go to Premier Care Hearing in Yorkton where they adjusted the hearing aids for me. It was been night and day of a difference and I cannot believe the difference they have made since.
