I ordered a belt 2 years ago. The buckle shows some wear but the leather looks like new and I have been wearing it every day. When the buckle finally breaks I can buy another one and replace it at home as it's held by large screws instead of being sewn in place or held by rivets.

After a prior purchase (reviewed) I was impressed enough to make a second purchase - Stanley belt black. Shipping - arrived in under a week. Build / Material Quality - as with first purchase very impressed. Appearance - very attractive. Pricing - at the high end for a belt but within acceptable range for what youre getting. Problems /Suggestions - I did experience two what Ill call technical issues with the belt both of which I communicated to Garth. Garth was very quick to investigate and respond by sending his observations / recommendations along with an offer to find another style for replacement. I opted to stay with the Stanley with his fix(s). A replacement belt at no cost to me arrived within a couple of days. Dont think I could have gotten better treatment.

I just received my belt today. I opted for a double-stitched belt made from Sedgwick bridle leather in Australian Nut Brown. There isn't a single dropped stitch, the brass buckle is very substantial, and the fasteners are Chicago screws, so I can change the buckle if I'm ever so inclined. The best part, of course, is the leather. Sedgwick & Co. make some of the best bridle leathers in the world - it has a lovely finish, and will no doubt age beautifully. Production and shipping of the belt were very quick. If you want a high-quality custom-made belt, and want to support a Canadian craftsman, order from TC.
