Poor image with the public for many reasons. The railway was better in so many ways when CN owned it years ago. They took better care of the line and the engineers were more respectful when passing through small towns or villages. It is common for them to needlessly hold the horn (long) while passing through town especially at night time, or on the contrary, barely honking the horn at all and speeding through town during the day. To add to that, the instances I've noted them speeding by my properties, there were multiple grass fires along the ditch of the highway as a result. I've seen several cases where they parked their engines in the middle of a town over a long weekend, running. If its not in town, I've seen them park near acreages and do the same thing. There's lots of access roads in the area not near housing. Maybe think of using those to park near when you need a taxi/ride back so you don't aggravate the public. Lots of oil tanker cars needlessly parked in small towns southwest of Winnipeg, taking away from visual appeal. More grass fires caused by train along hwy 3 on 18/04/2019
