I requested a quote from Gontree a couple of years ago when I needed some lilac bushes dug up and removed. Sheila came by to look. Her quote was competitive and she seemed down to earth and knew her stuff, so I went with them. They did a great job. Fast forward a couple of years when my elm tree was falling. I called in the morning and John was there within 30 minutes. He reviewed all the options, gave me a bunch of quotes while I decided how I wanted to proceed, and when I was ready to move forward he got me in right away. He and his crew didn't disappoint. They did a great job and left my yard cleaner than they found it. I won't call anyone else going forward and highly recommend to friends and family. Thank you Gontree! I had 4 large maple trees leaning over my house that I was concerned about. John and Sheila came by on a Wednesday after 5 to give an estimate, John immediately knew they were dead and they were a hazard to my home. He offered to come the next morning at 0800 to remove them. I had to ask the neighbours for access to their yard for the machinery, so John and Zack came that Friday at 0800 to fix my issue. Trees were all down just after lunch. I can't say enough good things about my experience! I live with severe anxiety, John saw right away that I was in distress and made time for me immediately. Both John and Zack were professional and explained things to me about my trees that I had no idea of beforehand. John was right on the money with his initial assessment of the trees' danger. As the trees came down piece by piece, it was evident that the trees were not very strong. The insides were rotten from the core out. My anxiety has been a lot lower since the trees were removed. Gontree is the only company I would contact with any questions or concerns regarding trees in my yard. Their professionalism and response time was, above and beyond what i expected. Thank you John, Sheila, Zack and all other staff at gontree tree services. You fit me in quickly amid all your other jobs. That's something I won't forget, and people should know.
