Wonderful stay at Iceberg Inn. The location is ideal for those arriving by train (about half a block), plus the grocery store is right across the street. The rooms are very comfortable (private baths & mini fridge) and the murals are beautiful. There is access to a microwave, toaster and coffee or tea. But the best part are the owners, Bill & Angela make this the perfect base for all your tours and adventures. They enjoy listening to everyone's stories after a day out, and make you feel at home.

The rooms are clean, comfortable and it is one of the most affordable places in town. It might not be fancy but it serves its purpose as a cozy place to stay while youre out exploring a magical city and region. Great location too, nothing is further than a five minute walk away. Bill and Angela are kind and generous hosts, I really enjoyed our two-week stay at the Iceberg Inn and would likely stay there again if I returned. Angela took us out one day to see polar bears and it was absolutely one of the highlights of the trip. Enjoyed the communal space where you had e chance to meet other travellers and spend time hearing about everyone elses adventures. FYI: They charge $5/person for coffee and toast in the morning. Half day stays are available (for a price) if youre coming in/leaving on the train. The Iceberg Inn is roughly a two minute walk from the train station.

Bill and Angela welcome all to their lovely home like youre part of the family. The rooms are basic but clean, spacious and there is a plentiful supply of hot water and heating (which can be individually controlled). The room even has a refrigerator for stocking up for your travels days be they train or plane. The hotel is right by the train station, Parks Canada, Visitor Centre, grocery store and some gift stores. A great place with super hosts!
