Frontiers North Adventures - Churchill Office

This is a thoroughly worth while experience. Upon arrival in Winnipeg at the start to the finish, we were treated very well. We stayed on the Tundra Lodge and this allows you the extra time each day on the buggy looking at the bears etc. The Tundra Lodge is very good and comfortable with bunk bed accommodation, dining car, lounge and kitchen. The staff we had were great, the chefs provided marvellous meals and delicious birthday cake, along with Teesha and Joyce who served the meals etc ensured these times were relaxing and enjoyable. The tour guide Wade and driver Trevor were very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and willing to pass on what they knew to us. This allowed us to gain a better understanding of the region and the polar bears. We did certainly see a large number of polar bears being active despite the conditions at times. The other aspect of the tundra buggy was the radio chatter between all drivers-mechanics-etc allowing all buggys to know what was happening constantly with the wildlife, conditions of the trails, where assistance needed making sure everyone was safe. The positive words with the staff highlighted the strength of the company. Thank you for a wonderful time on #73 and certainly recommend this company and tour. Just got back from our frontiers north adventure in Churchill, all I can say is it was incredible. The company is well organised & kept us safe throughout our whole trip, everyone was friendly & had a real passion for what they do & where they work, especially our fantastic guide Duane he was incredible, knowledgeable and made our trip memorable. I would recommend having your churchill adventure with frontiers north!!!

The lodge was great, the food wonderful and our guide, Mark, was superb. The only negative was we lost about 1 1/2 hours each day on the tundra taking the lunch dishes back to the lodge after lunch each day. Please purchase enough dishes so that they dont have to be returned until the end of the day. That time could have been spent trying to find bears.
