Its a must trail when you are going to visit Kiche Manitou. I thought this is an easy trail but due to the inclines or the climb it will make the hike harder but Isputinaw trail is very scenic. 5/5

Great little trail. Nice to get some elevation in a hike when youre surrounded by flat prairies. It was a good mix of marshy areas covered by board walk, packed mud, little bridges and one Fantastic view thats worth the steep hike up. Best to go on a dry day because on a wet day this trail will get real muddy!

I hiked the Isputinaw Trail on June 4, 2022. The trail leads through a marshy area along wooden boardwalks to start. Some of this area was a bit flooded but easily avoidable. There were some gorgeous yellow wildflowers along the way! From there, the trail enters the forest and begins climbing to the top of the hill. There is a set of wood steps as the final push up the hill. At the top, you are rewarded with beautiful views overlooking the area! The trail continued through forest at the top of the hill, follows along a ridge that opens up to more views and then starts to descend back to the boardwalks. There are some soggy areas right before reaching the boardwalks again. The trail is a short 1.5 km and scenic with a bit of a challenge with the climb up the hill. Its a great option and very convenient as its located right in the Spruce Woods campground. Would recommend!
