Called Doug and he answered immediately, came to my house and took $1,300 (50% of the quote) and then disappeared for two months. Unable to be contacted by telephone; his mailbox is chronically full. It wasn't until we filed a complaint against him through the Better Business Bureau that he finally called us back, explaining that he'd been busy and is terrible at returning phone calls. He informed us he would come the following week (it is now late July), weather-permitting. On the two days he said he would come, rain was in the forecast. He called the following week and said he would come later, weather permitting. Forecast called for rain on the days he said he would come. When he finally did show up, it was completely unannounced. He just rolled up onto our property and plugged in his music and acted like everything was normal. Upon completion of the job, we refused to pay him the $1,300 we still owed him. He kept us waiting for nearly two entire months for no good reason was our reasoning for stiffing him. He stormed off in a rage and threatened us with a lien, but as far as we are concerned our business with this shiester is concluded. Avoid at all costs.

Great work. Great time frame got it done quick. Will be calling back to do more work. I see unfortunate comments. Hard to believe.

They did my elderly parents eavestroughs and put the drainage downspout into their neighbours yard. When my parents said that couldnt be left as it was, the men stated it couldnt be changed and scoffed at my mother. The owner came to their house at night wanting all the money prior to the job being completed. He charged my parents $200 for cleanup that wasnt actually done leaving me to shop-vac the yard for 2 hours and pick up a ludicrous number of 5 long rusty nails (including those in their neighbours yard), as I didnt want the 67 year old and 80 year old falling on them or to be liable. After he claimed the cleanup was done, they showed him the nails and bag of filth. THEN he stated the cleanup costs were actually GST and told them the guy in charge while on the job claimed that my mom, a 5 tall, 67 year old elementary school teacher, was harassing him the whole time. I was painting their veranda the entire time so I know for a fact that while they were working she barely left the house to speak to them and when she did, she was friendly. The whole experience made me very uncomfortable and worried that they were being taken advantage of. The owner of the company wasnt there when the initial work was completed, so while Im confused by the glowing reviews, maybe that makes a difference.
