Had them install panels on my roof and garage for a system size of around 20 kWh (so a larger system). We ultimately went with them because they: (i) had the lowest quote, (ii) were installing the latest SolarEdge system (allows granular, per-panel system monitoring from a web portal), and (iii) offered the most complete information with their quote (proposed site illustration, estimates of savings, etc.). You can always run into trouble when you go with the lowest quote, but we ended up totally pleased with the system and the service. We did have a couple of technical hiccups - a defective wireless unit so we couldn't see the data from one set of panels, and a busted optimizer so one panel didn't seem to be producing. Since SolarEdge systems provide detailed online reporting, we discovered the issues immediately, and Living Skies came out and replaced the defective hardware without hassle after trying some online troubleshooting. The only annoying part of the whole install was Manitoba Hydro. From first application to completion, the process took around four months, with most of that time just waiting for various approvals from Hydro (the actual install took a few days). Even when the system was installed and ready to go, we still had to wait another month for Hydro to order and then install a bi-directional meter. Living Skies dealt with all of the Hydro paperwork, and seemed to be submitting everything quite quickly, so no issues there.
