Came in today for Mothers Day and had an amazing dine in experience. The place looked busier then usual as we expected. My wife had their Mothers Day special and I had their fish and chips. Our server Mike was attentive and kind. Will definitely visit again.

Ordered today, missing items in my order, one meal they forgot the fries. The lady at the front wanted reciept, didnt get one so she gave me attitude. Always get ur reciept if u go here.. so u have proof of their errors. We waited at the front for 15 minutes before anyone came to us. Waited 40 minutes for an order that had missing items. Like jus frustrated us. I would have rather went to the restaurant down the road.

I have been to rickys 7+ times and have to say it has always been great food and good service. Today was 0 out of 5 star experience. I ordered their spring promotion all you van eat "hand battered" fish and chips". The fish I received was hands down the worst deep fried fish I have ever had. The outside was literally spongy and felt like rubber and the fish on the inside was mushy...not flaky. No one came to see how our meal was after food was put out so I waived server over and made my concerns known re the fish and figured maybe it was 2 freezer burnt pieces of fish. She apologized and said she'd get them to make another order. The next 2 pieces were brought out by the so called manager who literary placed the food down with no lemon slices or tartar sauce, so I had to ask for a tartar sauce as he was already walking away. Unfortunately the replacement fish I had was also terrible, spongy/rubbery and mushy on the inside. Not once did server or manager come over to see how the food was after my initial concerns....our drinks remained empty with no offer of refills. I didn't even bother eating the fish that they had brought out other than a few bites. It was literally unpalatable. I had to finally wave down a different server to ask for our bill at which time I said again how dissapointing the meal/fish was. Our server never returned as she was more occupied mopping floors by bathroom, manager never checked in once and the other gentleman server brought out our bill and dropped it off (after I had already voiced my concerns). I paid full price of $28.99 for a fish and chips with a pop with no effort to rectify the experience. After I paid I spoke to manager and told him how dissapointed I was in the horrible meal and terrible overall service, to which he just replied..."oh im sorry sir" and that was it, no effort to rectify ky concerns. On the comment card I left my name and number should they want to talk to me about my terrible review I left on comment card...won't be holding my breath. Today was sadly the first time I've EVER not left a tip in a restaurant. Very disappointed as I have always enjoyed coming to Ricky's....is it under new ownership I wonder???
