If you're tired of dealing with cranky entitled HVAC guys who don't bother returning your calls and believe they're God's gift to the world, then Steve Hassett and his staff at Hassett Mechanical are for you. I have called a lot of HVAC guys in the last few weeks to do two things for me. Commission a new air to air heat pump system, and decommission my old air conditioning unit. I got ridiculous pie in the sky quotes that no working class person could ever hope to afford. Thats called the go away price. My friend (near Winnipeg) had almost the exact same work done by Hassett Mechanical a few weeks ago and only had good things to say, so I gave them a call. Not only did Steve Hassett (the owner) pick up the phone, but was pleasant, knowledgeable and willing to help. He had such a fantastic attitude I was shocked. Not only was he willing to help, but quoted me a reasonable amount of time and money for the job, despite me living an hour from Winnipeg. He also fit me into his schedule within a few days instead of making me chase him for weeks. When his apprentice Toby showed up (on time), he also had a great attitude. He worked on multiple things simultaneously so that he didnt waste his time and my money. Dont think he rushed and did a bad job either, he was thorough in his work and knowledgeable when I asked questions. I really appreciated that. It is very very rare to have such a good balance of speed and quality. Toby finished in a timely manner and my final invoice was within the quote I had received over the phone. I would highly recommend Hassett Mechanical for HVAC work and will use them for any future work myself. They are simply the best HVAC company Ive ever worked with!

I called Hassett Mechanical to get a second opinion on repairs/ possible replacement of our a/c unit after i was unhappy with the original diagnostic (or lack of) from furnasmen. He managed to come out same day during a heat wave and get us back up and running in a few hours, & installed our smart thermostat for us which we very much appreciated. He also went above and beyond after service and helped us diagnose and solve another small problem we had over the phone. We are very happy with the service received from Hassett Mechanical and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Support local, you wont regret it!
