2022 Sept. - Portage location, food is excellent but be warned if you bring your children here. My kids don't like spicy food so I was looking at the menu a long time trying to figure out can I safely order something not too spicy for them. The two servers probably heard me discussing this with my kids since we were the only ones in line and and it was quiet in the restaurant. Unfortunately they didn't hear me nor help me in my quest. They have to be child-free imho I finally ordered this for my two kids to share: Quesadilla 13inch flour tortilla overflowing with cheese and your choice of protein and toppings. Protein Options: pollo asado (which is roast chicken) Topping Styles: Street Style- Lime, onions, cilantro & salsa. Now I saw nothing above that screamed too hot for us to eat. Imagine my surprise to find my kids freaking out about the food is too spicy hot to eat. I tried it and yes it was. I discovered a generous helping of chopped Jalapeo Chili peppers sprinkled throughout. I couldn't eat it let alone my kids. I picked out the Jalapenos and I ate it as I'm too poor too let food go to waste. I had to go up and order potato things for my kids to eat. The portions are generous, the staff are very nice, the food is very fresh and good, it's a nice clean cute restaurant..., but for the love of God, watch out for the hot peppers from he11 Oh and my kids said the sour cream is way too runny, it was more like a milkshake. I agree with them. I prefer to be able to dip a sour cream.
