Sasagiu Rapids Lodge

Love this place. The staff are so friendly and accommodating! This is now my "go to" place for my northern trips. Beautiful location, clean rooms and AMAZING Thai food!

Best place to stay in Thompson! Every staff I've met in Sasagiu Lodge are amazing. So kind and friendly. The bridge, just infront of this lodge, is a best place to see sun-set, sun-rising, and northern light. Don't need to bring own food cuz here are delicious food from early morning to late night in reasonable price. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sasagiu Rapids Lodge in Thompson and it was an incredible experience. The hospitality and kindness of the hosts, particularly owner Steve, was outstanding. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. One of the highlights of our visit was the delicious Thai food prepared by Thiti, which was simply amazing. The flavors were authentic and the presentation was beautiful. We also enjoyed a thrilling skidoo ride with Paul, which was an absolute blast. But perhaps the most memorable moment of our stay was when we were able to witness the Northern Lights right from the lodge. It was a breathtaking sight and all we had to do was walk a few meters from our room. Overall, Sasagiu Rapids Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way. The warm hospitality, delicious food, and unforgettable experiences made our stay truly exceptional. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a memorable getaway in Thompson!
