I am a business leader in Winnipeg who has referred and endorsed starling social on many occasions. While I think they do good work, the ostracizing and the calling out of another small business on social media is pretty tasteless. There are plenty of ways to go about collecting dues for non-payment but to publicly shame someone repeatedly is just bad taste, no matter how awful the experience was. I am pleased to ensure Starling will not receive any further endorsements from my network.

We reached out to Starling Social to help us with setting up and running social media accounts and other marketing activities. They took their time to understand what our business is, what wanted to achieve, and came up with a proposal. Their approach is methodical and tailored to our business model, as opposed to a cookie cutter approach.
