Riverbend Terrace - Broadstreet Properties Ltd.

I dont know why Broadstreet properties has such a low rating. The staff here has always been very helpful and accommodating. I rented a two bedroom one bath room. Master bedroom is very big, so is the kitchen and bathroom. I love how the laundry room also has room to double as a storage room. Convenient to have a dog run. all of my immediate neighbours are friendly nice people who are respectful. I see people complaining about having to leave the lot during snow removal but how else are they supposed to clean it? Lol I would have given a five out of five but there has been times where maintenance requests take a while but thats probably due to staff shortages. The parking spots are a bit tight to be honest so I would even suggest renting two parking spots beside each other. Balconies are pretty small but I dont really use mine so it didnt matter Overall I would recommend River Bend Terrace to friends or family looking for an apartment. Close proximity to Starbucks, Dollarama, Tim Hortons, Sobeys and shoppers drug Mart.

Im going to give a 3 star only because Ive rarely had an issue after being here for almost 3 years but in regards to snow clearing the building should be accommodating to its tenants who PAY the rent not the snow plows asking us to be out of t he parking lot from 8am to 5pm 100% unreasonable some of us need to be home some of us work from home I waited in the parking lot for 2 hours with no sign of the snow plows so why did I have to leave that early? I understand the parking lot needs to be plowed BUT you can communicate with the plow service and ask them to come between 8-12 or 9-1 Im paying for a space that im being told I cant be in its 2022 not 1995 be aware and conscious that some tenants need to be home diddle daddling and trying to find something to do for 9 hours my time and my life is precious everyones is and broad street is wasting it with this silliness!

Is there a 0 stars option? Dont rent with Broadstreet. Much better places to rent from in the city. Weve been great tenants and are so disappointed in the lack of assistance and compassion every time something is needed. However our final straw: our washing machine has been broken for 5 days. We have an infant which means daily laundry and have been asking for it to at least get looked at soon. Called the customer service line again after 4 days just to be told NO work order was ever created. Site manager also makes so many excuses why they cant get to fixing anything and says theyll try to get to it (even for something thats a priority and included in your rent). Its literally as if youre being an inconvenience. Save yourselves the headache, we cant wait to leave.
