This is pretty recent news to the clientele and management team at Oakland Gardens. I work at a high volume retail store , this is during the most brutal winter in years based off the amount of snow there is and how it is been . My general feeling after work is have a quick bite and go to sleep and start the new day relaxed . As such ,I have to grab food nearby after work when I arrived home at 10pm. So, thinking I have everything ( car keys, work badge, swipe card, and my keys to the apartment). Anyways, I locked my door on my car in the parkade making sure I have everything including food, so needless to say I was freaking out I am in the parkade, called my parents which did not have the best cell service due to being underground , so my folks are freaking out. Im trying to get out of the maze safely in the parkade with my food in hand slowly eating a bit trying to remain calm. As my keys car and apartment along with the swipe badge were locked in my car! Thank goodness, the best resident manager was nearby , didnt have to call her as I do not like calling people past ten pm as a general rule. I asked the resident manager , I lost my keys or left my keys as I did not officially now the whereabouts, she gave me the spare key to get in and I returned to the best apartment in the world. As such, I called my parents as I was given the. Keys which I found my spare apartment key, car key and swipe badge. I went to the parkade to get into my car and the aftermath was my resident manager the best in the world needed a boost and I was beaming like a child in a candy score and needed help boosting her car, it took awhile as I was stressed and pretty easy to use booster cables , but she educated me. Anyways , I do not know how everyone reacts to post generally from the property agency. I will leave it at this I dare anyone on this planet to find a great and generous, compassionate resident manager at the one In my building!

This building has had a mice infestation problem for over 20 years. My mother has lived her for 4 years and continues to have mice.Seen them coming in and out the building, outside residents door and parkade.. Pest control comes but situation is never resolved. My mother in law had the same situation over 20 years ago.Why cant they frickin fix it once and for all...Discusting. Also, this is primarily a seniors residence,, with many having mobility issues and the elevators have been under repair for 6MONTHS!!!! leaving tenants to wait for extremly long times until one is free.. When there are move ins or outs there is only 1 elevator for the movers and tenants to share...If emergency services were to come, I dont want to imagine what may happen to the person they cant get to....Edison Properties,get your @#$% together and put your tenants needs first!!!!
