Mid Town Plaza

I've lived here since 2015. Building is very clean, and well kept. Secure with cameras surrounding building, in elevator and can view from your TV. Also new luundry machines, cell phone and or card operated as well laundry room and mail room are locked for Tennant's only. New security entrance and intercom, new balconys last summer nicly and well done renovations. . As well an extensive fire plan and no annoying false alarms. It's close (within a minuit) to several convinence stores as plus a large Family Foods store with a Safeway and others just across the Midtown bridge. In excellent well lit location. Newley renovated units. Great, friendly, helpful and well organized office staff and awesome caretakers. Who keep building impecibky clean at all times even sweeping and mopping the starewells. I've been with this company for over 23, years had my 1st apartment with them on Taylor than Cumberland now here at Midtown plaza where I proudly call home.I highly recommend Active management and 59 Donald Street. A great location just on the edge of downtown. BUT it lacks handicap operators on the outside doors not so anyone in a wheelchair cannot live here (or even visit easily) . The front door also lacks any sort of access control (card or fob) for entry so tenants either use a key; or a code on the intercom both of which can be lost or shared. The hall ways are poorly lit. The building management company is located on the 2nd floor so you'd think they would notice things like the contradictory notices on the wall (Are masks mandatory or not?) or announcements about things that happened weeks ago.
