Ive never met Martin in person, only spoke on the phone but he was very perceptive to the type of person I am. He likes one word answers but let me go on and on like a babbling brook but would always gently steer me back to the topic at hand. Always explained everything in detail, never condescending or patronizing. Whatever the result, I will remember Martin for always having me in gales of laughter from his one liners and being able to poke fun at himself and occasionally at me. Once the ball was rolling, his enthusiasm was so contagious that I felt like putting on my short skirt, pompoms and being part of his cheering section. His only fault being that he never pronounced my first name correctly but as the saying goes Call me anything you like, just dont call me late for dinner.
