First I want to say I purchased my truck at River City Ford and I have always been happy with me service and quick lane. This is the second time i have had my vehicle repaired at River City Collision. The first time I was completely satisfied. This time I was satisfied with the work itself and that they did a great job of cleaning the my truck. The concern I had was the lack of communication regarding how long the repair would take. They had my vehicle for seven days to replace the damaged tailgate shell. It sat in the same parking spot for 6 of those days while the new shell was painted. The only disassembly that took place was the small panel on the inside of the tailgate in 5 working days. So my issue is that the new shell should have been painted and all parts ordered prior to my vehicle being brought in for the repair. That would have reduced my loss of use to a couple of days vs seven days. I was never advised it would take seven days. The other issue I had is that I called several times on multiple days only to get an answering machine and received no call back. I had to call several times in a row before someone finally answered the phone. So in conclusion I was happy with the work that was done. I would recommend them for the work they do. However the communication and consideration to the time of loss of use left me wanting more. So my rating is 5 stars for the work but 2 for communication and job planning. Service: Body & Trim
