We had absolutely no issues purchasing a vehicle from this location - Josh and James are some of the friendliest and most helpful salesmen I have ever experienced. We were offered an amazing opportunity and we would VERY HIGHLY recommend anyone looking to purchase a vehicle here :)

I hit a deer with my truck and I was uncertain if MPI would repair it or not so I sent in an application for a new truck just to be ready if my truck was a write off. When I sent in the application I got an almost immediate reply from Jake introducing himself! Jake and Josh were extremely helpful even if I didn't purchase anything!! Will take my buisness here next time I'm looking for a vehicle!

I was in the market to purchase a newer vehicle in March of 2022 and knew that my credit and a bankruptcy years ago may pose a problem. I dealt with James and while the sales process was fairly easy (a bit pushy when discussing my personal expenses as a single mom, but that is his job to make a sale so I understand,) I was pleasantly surprised with their attentiveness. My employer purchases many vehicles from Murray Chevrolet, as do all of my coworkers and nobody had anything negative to say about it, so I thought I was in good hands. I was promised reliability, something I was in need of with a two year old and a 17 year old SUV that still ran perfectly but needed some major body work that would have cost thousands. Issues started to arise during the financing process (through no fault of Josh Fox, who is incredible at what he does!) The car was advertised on the website in about 8 different spots that it was part of the "Certified Used" program, including "Certified Used _________ (my car type) with my VIN number". Upon financing, Josh told me that was likely an error. I declined the extended warranty as it was simply not in my budget - again, Josh was not pushy with this and knew my situation. The issues continued as I picked up the car, 20 minutes after final paperwork was completed on Friday evening. When James went to open the driver's front door for me, it would not open from the outside - he had to push it open from the inside. We both thought maybe it was stuck, it had just been washed and it was March afterall. By Sunday morning, neither front drivers door or rear driver's door would open from the inside or the outside. To top it off, after loading my child in from the opposite side of her carseat and climbing in from the passenger side myself, my check engine light came on. I promptly had it into the dealership to be assessed - they ordered parts to repair the doors (which they did at no cost to me) and replaced my gas cap - which was not the problem as the vehicle has continually had this issue, at least 15 times now. A week after purchase, I got a terrible engine shaking, followed by another CEL. This time, I took it into Murray, told them what I thought the issue was, they told me I was wrong, and that the cost of repairing the incorrect problem would be solely on my shoulders. Again, I had not even made the 1st payment on this vehicle yet and now it was essentially a paperweight. A week of chatting with the salesperson, getting a second opinion at a Hyundai dealership, and they finally agreed to cover the cost of replacing the correct part, but I had to have it towed somewhere else to have it fixed as they could not get my vehicle in for over a week to be "looked at" for the 3rd time and order the parts which would take another week at best. I also couldn't afford a more expensive tow at the time when Hyundai is less than 10 minutes from my home. Because of the initial CEL code that has continued reoccurring (it is in fact the same code as I've checked myself and had it checked at a Hyundai dealership), the vehicle is non-drivable most days as I cannot afford to fix or even diagnose the issue through a dealership and I've owned it for less than 3 months out of a 7 year term. Perhaps if I had purchased a brand new Chevy, I would have felt like I was more valued as a customer, but overall my experience is not one that I am happy about. I thought purchasing a newer car would feel like a weight lifted off my shoulders, but instead it has just become another problem to worry about.
