We own a walk-out bungalow in Oakbank with many large, west-facing windows. Every year - especially during the summer months, the bird strikes against our windows are absolutely heart breaking. We've tried bird alert window decals, large black bird silhouette adhesives, and even different window coverings - all with limited success in preventing those poor birds from window strikes. Upon doing some web searching, we discovered VBG Distributors in Winnipeg. We dealt with wonderful company representatives, and arranged to have Feather Friendly Commercial Bird Deterrent Window Film applied to our windows. Chris and his staff professionally applied this application, and we are absolutely thrilled to report that the bird strikes have almost totally stopped! Those very few that do come near our windows actually just "brush" past, obviously seeing the warning dots, and avoiding a full window hit. Last year we had your company install film onto our west facing windows on our cottage. We have a lot of west facing windows:) We noticed our air conditioner didn't run as frequently last year but this year has really shown us how valuable the window film has been. Temperatures hit 38 degrees today...our air conditioner didn't run! Now there are a couple of other factors at play here, we got the temp in the cottage down to 19 last night and the sun is quite far north (which gives us a bit more tree shelter) BUT the air conditioning didn't run and the temperature was 38 degrees!! Tomorrow is another day...temperature is supposed to be 33 degrees. Crossing our fingers for the same result!!! Thank you so much for great service and great product!
