Had my 4 kids going here for before and after school care for 6 years. Awesome staff and summer programming. The ED, Ryan, is very involved and caring. I would recommend this centre for any children attending Lord Selkirk School.

Volunteered for Ryan for the centre. Had a great experience. Was welcomed with open arms and showed exactly what to do with the children. All children and staff were fantastic. Would recommend to anyone looking for volunteer work or to have their children in a friendly environment!!

After my husband posted a negative review of the daycare, the daycare director, Ryan, proceeded to call me and yell at me. He told me that my husband was unprofessional (it isn't the parents job to be "professional") and that he was "close to having him banned from picking up my children from daycare because of his review." He also called Chris a "keyboard warrior" for not talking to him in person and "hiding behind a screen". I'm not sure why he didn't call him directly, as I believe he has his number as well as mine. This isn't how you deal with negative reviews, whether you believe them to be true or not. You don't call "irate" (his words, not mine) and berate someone for it (especially not the person involved!!!) You try to diffuse the situation, and hope that the review can be changed for the better It is the DIRECTORS job to be professional. Not the parents. If someone is upset and posts a negative review, own it and take responsibility. The director did NOT act professionally in any way. Please note, I immediately pulled my children out of the daycare.

Ryan, the director of Poplar Avenue Kids Care, is one of the most energetic, charismatic directors that I know! He is funny and brings such a fabulous energy to his job! Keep doing what youre doing Ryan! You are fabulous!!
