Action Centre Day Nursery

One of the workers there has been rude to me on multiple accounts, they don't take you seriously at all when you have a situation you're concerned about. My child has been learning inappropriate things here, I never get any of my lunch container lids back, my kids hats go missing. I saw another child hit my child and instead of the other child getting in trouble, my child was told that he didnt need to cry. There is a very nice man there who does make it worth going, who has been kind to my bf and I, countless times! I would rate it 5 stars if there was more people like him, but there isn't. I am very disappointed and will be taking my children out. I have never been yelled or degraded before in front of my children and one of the workers there did so, and she tried to tell me that I'm not suppose to feel that way. I've heard other mothers complain about them losing their children's stuff as well. They threw out one of my kids water bottles and gave him one of theres and they couldn't even give me a good reason as to why it was thrown out. They lost a pair of my sons expensive shoes and I never get notes asking for me to bring anything to replace it. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. The only positive thing is that the one kind man has always made me feel very welcomed.

I went to this daycare when I was a child, so did my brothers and sisters, they also worked there. My sisters and I children go here, they are great and trust worthy! I was a troubled child and they handled me amazing, they work with parents and do their best to help the children even if they are a bit wild. They have well balanced healthy lunches/ snacks for the children (fruit, cheese, veggies, water, juice, milk, grilled cheeses etc) They have lots of play time/story time, various play areas and tons of different activities they do with the children like baking and art time, the baby room also has activities like drawing and dancing ! They have a awesome playground, in the summer they have wading pools & bikes in the winter they have snow hills and sleds plus tons of toys. They accept subsidy if you qualify so only 2$ a day per child, and they will help you get your other children a spot if needed! The staff are so sweet and helpful they treat children like theyre own! All around this is a great daycare and you can trust them. Ive known them for most my life and have only good things to say. They definitely do not talk about parents/children to other people either. I read the other review and I had to post one myself because cleary that woman is just writing a false review because shes mad for some dumb reason ! how do you call them money hungry when your only PAYING 2$ a day that by the sounds of it welfare pays for too so its not even money out of your own pocket this facility has been in the northend and running for more than 20 years so Im sure they can handle a northend kid whatever the hell that means .
