Called the office and wanted to speak to Dr. Kerry in regards of a teeth cleaning and whitening. The receptionist Ann was extremely unprofessional and even dropped the phone on me. VERY RUDE.

One Clinic I Intend to Go Back To, I Hope For 8 years in Canada, I have been to about 10 places, 10 dental clinics and Marion Dental Centre is the first clinic that I hope to go back to with zest. When looking for a dental place, I always take into account how I feel when I leave the clinic with services done on my teeth. And for the first time in 8 years, I found a place that made me feel someone actually cleaned my teeth and not just being poked around over. The Centres hygienist, Jodie, is one dental care professional I will always remember, next to my original dentist from my country, Dr. Chan. Jodie took care of my teeth and made me feel that I made the right choice setting an appointment with Marion Dental Centre. For the first time in 8 years in Canada, someone used Cavaitron in the process. I know I owed her lunch and hope to ask her to have lunch with me just to thank her for the experience. Most hygienist I met always incorporate in their service some personal conversations, Jodie was one of them but she made sure I got clean teeth too while talking about my son and didnt want to just waste my time and her time or spend too much time asking questions about my sons favorite toys just to kill time. She cleaned my teeth and I felt my teeth clean the way my dentist in the Philippines did. I learned in Legal Ethics to respect fellow professionals (for officers of the court) and I will use this principle in writing about Marion Dental Centre. When I first thought about writing a review, I wanted to enumerate those other places I have been to - - about 8 to 10 (excluding surgical procedures). I wanted to use comparative writing technique to reiterate why I felt that Marion by far outweighed the others I visited. But i took a 360 degree. In the end, I realized that every dental clinic I visited is the same - - they smile, they are warm, they are friendly, its part of the profession. But what sets apart Marion Dental Centre from the others I visited and what makes it worth mentioning and worth writing about - - is the overall service and professional conduct the dentist (Dr. Kerry) and hygienist I met (Jodie) and other members of the staff. The place enforces use of mask and I appreciate the procedure checking your temperature and all. Theres a big space for waiting area. (which really is not a big deal for me but I appreciate the layout. ) The billing process is convenient. They take care of everything. You somehow hope to get a copy however of every visit (just in my case, because I dont have access to it) so i can monitor what else I can do for the meager amount I am entitled to. But if they cant provide those, it wont make me think less. Dr. Kerry (his first name) impressed me with his bedside manners. The way he communicates his diagnosis or results after scouring your teeth, is one I would always hope a dentist would talk to patient. I remember a female dentist who pressed her upper teeth to her lower lip overbiting her upper teeth-midway to her chin to illustrate my overbite, and repeatedly flapped them like a rat eating cheese. Of course I got offended by it with the insinuation. I will never forget her face and her dental office for this reason and more so because we have the same country of origin. To my relief, Dr. Kerry was more careful in his use of language. He said, you have an unusual bite there, because it is indeed an overbite but at least he never insinuated anything offensive. Dr. Kerry was very gentle too during the procedures during my visit. Its funny, the father of my children has been visiting Dr Kerrys office since I have known him and only after 6 years did I decide to join him - - simply because he was the one setting the appointment for all of us and its an opportunity while I am on school break for the holidays. Boy, was I glad to follow him. There are other great dental offices in my area and maybe I will explore some more. But I am hoping to go back to Marion Dental Centre. I am hoping this ends my search for a dental clinic.
