Dr. Rashmi Nigam

Dr Nigam is rude, dismissive, and if she does have any medical knowledge she is not willing to share it with her patients. Maybe the worst doctor I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. In my second (and final!) appointment I was made to wait for an hour and a half, after which she saw me for maybe 20-30 seconds total. No apologies, and she was not willing to spend time answering my questions because she was busy. I was there for a follow up appointment but Im not convinced she even looked at my eye.

I have been seeing Dr Nigam for a number of years. She did both of my cataracts and has treated me for glaucoma for many years. She always has time to discuss any concerns I have and is very meticulous.

Worst experience with a medical professional I have ever had. I was sent there by a physician. I was not listened to, questions were not answered and was treated in an impatient and dismissive manner and like I was a waste of time. Though something "suspicious " was seen, she would not say what it was and would not do further testing, telling me to go back to my optometrist. There was no sense of caring or compassion and I left the office traumatized.
