I have been seeing Dr. Aljafari for over 6 years now, and I can not express enough how amazing he is. His assistants have also been amazing and the ladies at the front desk work hard! This team has been amazing with my children and I am very great-full to have found such an amazing family doctor!

When I started seeing Dr Jamal she was very helpful and willing to hear me out when I described what I came in to see her for. She hasn't shown so much as a hint of kindness in years. Every time I see her now, she asks "what do you want me to do about it" regarding routine medical situations. For years I've been dealing with an intermittent pain in my right hand when typing and once it came back negative for carpal tunnel she just completely blew me off - told me to just go to Pan Am Clinic, which is a walk-in for acute injuries. When I did go there for what I thought was a lingering sprain but the clinic diagnosed as arthritis, I got a call from her like two weeks later where she told me to exercise more (ironically I had just finished a workout; prior to the arthritis getting really bad I was very active, despite my weight) and to just go back there if I had any other issues. I ended up having to do just that. When I asked her to refill the pain meds the clinic had prescribed (non addictive and non opioid, ftr) my pharmacy got a partial refill and instructions to come in to see her for further refills. I did, and I was made to stand in agony waiting to get checked in to her office, and eventually her assistant started saw me and she was taking notes on my situation. When Dr Jamal finally came in, she took one glance at the notes and ignored them, acted confused why I was there even though she had told me to come in, and after a literal "what do you want me to do about it" told me "I'm not a pain doctor" despite arthritis being one of the most common ailments in the world. She told me to go back to Pan Am for the pain clinic which requires a referral. she insisted to me I could just walk in, which you very much cannot. I don't know if she ever sent the referral. she never sent one for a psych a few years back until I had yet another breakdown in her office. Despite insisting that the prescription from the people she was telling me to go to was bad due to my blood pressure, in the prescription she grudgingly gave me, she doubled the dose. I don't get it. Furthermore the office refuses to note down my pronouns so I get misgendered constantly by her; I was told they can only do anything with that with a health card update. Which I am still waiting on. Pan Am had no problem with noting down my preferred info. I dont know if I'm too fat to be worth helping, too trans, or if she just doesn't care about helping people in general but no wonder my blood pressure is up when I have to go there.
