Meghan was my birth doula when I gave birth to my first baby girl last year, and I don't think I have enough words to express how grateful I am for her support. As an newcomer I did not have a good support network for my family here in Canada. I greatly missed my sister who couldn't fly to me. Well, Meghan kind of replaced her as best as she could. Her pre-birth preparation sessions were very helpful and relaxed. She immediately felt to me like a family member, a friend, not someone I hired. Her help during me giving birth was great, but her support in the first 2 week post-partum was unparalleled. Due to a typical new parent sleep deprivation I developed post-partum anxiety and a serious insomnia. At that moment when my family was far away, and my husband couldn't fully understand what was going on with me, and a little baby on our hands to care for, she was so so supportive and helpful, I couldn't describe it. From connecting me to other women who experienced PPA to taking care of the baby, from warming up my lunch to just holding my hands when I felt especially helpless, she was there for me. In two months postpartum I fully recovered from PPA and now I moved to a different part of the country, but Meghan and her attitude to work and her rich personality will always stay in my heart. Thank you Meghan so much, and I wish you every success!

Meghan was my doula for the birth of our baby and she was there for me every step of the way, no matter what time of day it was! She never said "sorry I'm busy" or "sorry I was sleeping" - she was just there like my shadow. She has a genuine love for babies and takes her job very seriously as she should - being a doula is a serious job. Without Meghan I know I would not of had the confidence/tools to birth at home. The knowledge she shared with me about birth/comfort measures and the information she shared with me to mentally prepare (this was the biggest one) was priceless and let me know I could do this. We all know women used to birth babies at home all the time back in the day, so we all know it's possible for us to do it too. But it takes courage and Meghan helped me tap into my power. Thank you, Meghan!

We hired Meghan to provide us with private prenatal classes during a very stressful first pregnancy during the thick of the COVID pandemic. She came highly recommended from a friend. It really was the best decision we made. She has a gentle, supportive, strong and generous spirit. Although we did not go the route of having a doula for our labour and delivery, she really went above and beyond what we ever expected and maintained a relationship with us for the duration of our pregnancy and birthing experience. When we were faced with some seemingly insurmountable challenges in the pregnancy she was there to support us emotionally as well as with her resources, time and connections. We really feel she was the one strong pillar of non-judgemental and open support when we would have otherwise felt very alone. Her services are a gift and we are so grateful to have been on the receiving end of them. Highly recommend!

Meghan was one of the main reasons why I had a positive birth experience. It was fate that her name stood out to me a few times in some Google Reviews because it brought her into our lives and gave us so many happy memories. Not only did our values align, but she brought so much knowledge, confidence and good energy into our home during the end of my pregnancy and during the birth of our first baby. She made me feel strong and capable of anything, but also listened to and validated my feelings. She worked through my anxieties with me, and I know for certain that it meant the difference between a good experience and what could have been a negative one. She was also so incredibly generous with her time after the birth and really helped me with breastfeeding when I felt completely overwhelmed by it. I cannot recommend working with Meghan enough! Having a doula as part of my experience was the best decision I made. I am still thankful to this day and it makes me very emotional (in a happy way!) when I think about her and our birth experience.

I will be forever grateful I found Meghan when I became pregnant for the first time. She was the best person to have by our side as we entered this new journey of pregnancy. Meghan always offered a safe space to share my thoughts, fears, concerns and emotions during my pregnancy. She was always available for me and would bring calmness to our day to day challenges of pregnancy. She knew what to say or knew what to ask to make me feel better. Both my husband and I think that Meghan made my pregnancy journey the best possible. Even being a high risk pregnancy, I welcomed my beautiful baby girl in hospital completely natural with no medical intervention with the love and support of my husband and Meghan by our side! She gave me the strength, love and support one can only hope for. I will always cherish those moments!
