We really wanted to put this nightmare experience with Aaron behind us but it would be irresponsible to not warn others about him and his unethical practices. He was responsible for doing all the electrical in our new build. We noticed he was becoming increasingly unavailable as the build progressed - not returning phone calls, texts or emails. He was also delaying the dates his workers were to complete various jobs causing the entire build to be delayed. Several times MB Hydro advised us that a permit hadnt yet been pulled for the job and we trusted Aaron when he said he was in possession of the permit. The truth came out when after repeated attempts to contact Aaron to inquire as to when a final inspection would be conducted by MB Hydro, we contacted MB Hydro directly and we were advised there would not be a final inspection completed as there had not even been a permit applied for yet! We tried repeatedly to make contact with Aaron with no response. A builder who had referred him to us also attempted to make contact with him on our behalf. No response. We actually wondered if he had passed away. All the other tradesmen working on our new home expressed disbelief that this was happening to us. MB Hydro suggested we find another electrician. It was December 23rd, 2021, when we finally found a wonderful sympathetic electrician who was willing to come out and assess what Aaron had done. There was a lot of head shaking taking place during that meeting with the two new electricians who observed a lot of inferior work completed by Aarons employees. We incurred additional expense in having to get some of the electrical moved around. Aaron resurfaced in March looking for the last installment payment and my husband wanting to take the high road paid him in full. Aaron has lost a lot of business because of this. The builder who referred him to us advised he will never use Aaron again nor will any of the tradespeople who were involved in our build refer clients to him. This is our fourth build and we have never experienced having an untrustworthy and unethical tradesperson like Aaron. Service: General construction
