Health Sciences Centre: Children's Emergency

If there was a zero star rating I would have given one. When I was 13 I had really bad stomach pains so I went to there waited about 5 hours only to be given a pat on the back by a doctor saying its just a small stomach ache. The next day I had to go back.

5 hrs in waiting room (when I got there it was 3 hrs expected) my kid threw up blood. 3 hrs more in a room waiting for a Dr. I was there till 5 am. I had to just leave due to my kid being so tired he was crying. This emergency, urgent care b.s system we have is a joke.

Very bad experience. Alot of wait. My baby had really high fever 40 degree. They make me sign a paper upon check in that i cant sue them for any reasons as i am not citizen here. Why anybody sue or do anything legal if you guys will do everything right. I had to wait long and there were so many people with normal children playing and sitting nicely came after me and they got their turn before me. I was pregnant and it was very hard for me to sit with baby on small chair for long so,i went to front desk. They didnt like to see me there asking for wait time. I guess there is policy that everybody is treated same expect their religion, culture but i have seen respect and service based on discrimination Very bad service.

Only 2-3 people ahead of us. And wait times are pathetic. Well over 4 hrs. People who came after us, were seen prior to us. Health care system is just terrible.
