We have gone to this Eye Centre for years with our 3 kids. The optometrists are all great. However, Our kids always look forward to picking a toy at the end of the appointment. Today they were rushed through it, they had to take the first toy they touched, they were not allowed to choose. I think to save parents the headache, they should just not offer the cheap toys to the kids. This was definitely not a good experience, the receptionist was a different receptionist than we are used to from our past experiences and I agree with other comments, she doesn't seem very friendly. She doesn't seem to care about kids either, the previous receptionist was great with kids.

Eye doctor was friendly, but the receptionist was very rude. I could barely take off my 3 kids coats and scarves before she wanted me to put masks on them. Not a Hello or Hows it going? But a rude Put a mask on I politely declined for my kids, but she insisted, waving these masks in my face. I asked her if her hands were clean, and she gave me a look like I was crazy. Yikes! Being handed open masks from a person that handles money all day is gross. If shes that scared of the flu, stay home. We will NOT be returning, we will go to a place where we are welcome.

BE AWARE !!! Staff like to sell a "grow with me program" which sounds great if your child wears glasses ~ kids grow and eyes can change. What they DO NOT tell you is it expires. I found out the hard way and for the sake of a few months (due to covid) am out $500. All I got from Dr. Bayer was a smug, "sorry that happened". They are eager to set up contact fittings and fail to disclose they charge a $50 fitting fee until the fitting is done. I have never been to a clinic that charges a fee for a contact fitting. Definitely not upfront and honest, be extra cautious especially if you do not have insurance. The clinic is also old and dirty, chairs have holes and the floor heaves leaving a safety hazard for walking. I stumbled on the floor and watchef most other patients trip as they walked on it. My 3 year old tripped and smashed her nose on the floor leaving her nose bruised. Thank goodness after x-rays, it was not broken. There are many good doctors with honest caring staff, look around. Do Not recommend this clinic.

I'm having probably the worst week of my life and the gentle compassion underscoring these folk's diligent work has given me comfort for which I'll always be grateful. Thank you sincerely to Pam, Katie, Dr. Bayer and the other kind folks who showed me so much sympathy.
