I had a disappointing experience with this firm, many delays and what I felt was dishonest communication, as the information provided to me or why there was delays continued to change. If I was not calling or emailing to follow up, I would not hear back for long periods of time. I did not feel supported as a client. I would not recommend as it made my stressful situation much more stressful.

I have been a client for a few years for both separation agreement /divorce and also to obtain witness / notary paperwork signatures. All my interactions were positive and the staff were always professional. Lillian Mackenzie is hard working and she makes time for her clients when not already booked for prior appointments. I made an appointment and did not have to wait long to be scheduled in. Lillian gave me a full 30 min consultation and was very understanding and straightforward with my impromptu emotional situation. The provided Kleenex was highly appreciated.

They seemed to be nice, booked an appointment for me on Aug 25th. But almost two weeks later and 24 h before my appointment, they have sent an email saying things about "conflict of interest". They even did not bother to call, just an email. When I have called and demanded the answer how is it possible that this interest of conflict became known after two weeks of me waiting and only 24 hours before my appointment (when I already took time off work, by the way), they started talking about "oh I can't tell you, the law society" etc. You highly value your time, but what about the time of others? I could have found another lawyer within this 2 week period. The conflict of interest should be disclosed before the appointment, and not when the client is about to meet their lawyer after two weeks of waiting. Not sure that it would be even published. Very disappointed.
