Been coming here for therapy for 11 years this May and I have to say that Ive been treated very well by almost everyone Ive come into contact with at this hospital over the years. I probably wouldnt be here today if it werent for the dedicated doctors and staff.

I went there once in PY1 and its okay there, friendly staff and friendly people. My favorite was snack time tbh

My son was in there for a short time and is now feeling better and getting the help he needs . We all are.

I have received some help, but not nearly enough. With my issues of Fetal Alcohol Effects,I felt no time was taken to fully and accurately confirm my Alcohol Related Neurodevelopmental disorder ,which was confirmed by my birth mother confirming she drank while pregnant with me while in a session. I also felt somewhat harshly judged on my character,despite the aforementioned brain and behavioral issues I am having.They seem uninformed that not everyone who has Fetal Alcohol Effects is slow mentally. I found Drs there to be dismissive and yet also very knowledgeable. Again, somewhat judgemental and quick to think the worst of you if you're a minority. And Drs take a very long time to get appointments with. You're lucky to get in touch with someone to make appointment,or if return your call.:-(. Here's hoping you get better. I did get better but lack the continuing support I need from them. Dr dumped me without a warning. Now left without a Dr. Not helpful.It would be nice if they'd have at least let me know why. Now left on multiple psychiatric medications,with no prescriber. Looks like,there goes the progress I worked so hard to make. It's a shame to let me flounder,as much $ was spent to help me, and now it's all going to go to waste because no Dr. Beware,they'll take you,put you on multiple medications,then dump you without warning if they feel you don't measure up to what they think you should be. Now I gotta suffer from medication discontinuation syndrome.Thanks.
