This broker nearly cost me $400 extra for car insurance. He told me all I needed to update my Autopac, was a "Driver's Abstract" from my last province. My record is excellent, so I expected a discount. He faxed it to MPI. MPI then told me I would not receive a discount. Period. I pursued it. MPI Records Dept. told me JEM should also have sent in my out-of-province "Claims Abstract". I had to go to the MPI office in person. Waited in line, etc. Once I did, MPI sent me a $200 refund cheque for the year. I then received another $200 discount for the next year's car insurance. JEM nearly cost me $400 in one visit. This genius also mailed my new homeowners insurance to my old address, after I told him I was moving in just two days. When I contacted him to say it's a darn good thing I was able to retrieve the documents, he just did not see the problem. Find another agency.
