We live in the NWT and have been with NationNorth for 4 years. Decided to buy a trailer and had to drive 10.5 hours to get it. Emailed with Khushbu Patel to set things up, then Aaron Duong started replying to my emails instead. Organized everything so we could pick up the trailer and carry on with our trip. Confirmed the time by email and included the time zone to make sure everything would work out. Picked up the trailer at the agreed upon time, sent the signed bill of sale and no response from Aaron. Spent the next 1.5 hours on the phone and emailing trying to get insurance so we could drive out of the industrial park. Even though the office was open, there was no one licensed for the North. It was -21 and snowing. A few minutes before close, spoke with Spencer Coughlin who said these things happen, you have to expect them in business and no one could do anything. Waited another 14 hours for the office to open up again and get the pink slip emailed so we could leave. Aaron emailed that he had been confused with the time zone. Unfortunately, our carefully planned trip was disrupted. Really disappointing because we had to travel so far to get it and thought we had worked out all the details. Bottom line: NationWest might be a good company if you live in Winnipeg or the same time zone but the service NationNorth offers to its Northern customers is subpar.
