Went today for lunch with two friends. Myself and my gf got the jerk chicken roti with plantain. Her husband got the jerk burger and we ordered extra patties. Everything was delicious. The chutney with the roti was so good, their jerk aoli is amazing and to be honest I had not had such great fries as these in a long time. It was a pleasant meal, and the staff are so nice. I will be going back for sure and try their supper menu, they have ox tails and I really want to try it.

The service is not only good its great but the food is just amazing, the food is served hot and the portion size does more than compensates for the price. I recommend this restaurant

Take out at the Island Grill is excellent Jerk Chicken Linguini Jerk Shrimp with rice and peas Amazing Greek salad Three dishes but we had a lot leftover for lunch the next day. Keisha and Sean still doing it great One of the best restaurants in Winnipeg Beautiful walk through Assiniboine Park across the bridge to the Island Grill. Food was great as always - Caesar dressing homemade and excellent. Jerk chicken linguini was perfect - linguini with garlic and parmigiana melted in my mouth. Excellent wine at a reasonable price. Keisha and Sean thank you!! When you walk in it really feels like a little piece of Jamaica. Beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. Keisha and Sean welcome you like you were a guest in their own home. Food is exceptional -- very fresh and exploding with flavour. It was our first visit - but we will be regulars - parked in the park and had a wonderful walk over the bridge.
