Best place to get Japanese groceries. Definitely cheaper than Oomomo. The prices vary, I find some things are cheaper than other stores (like umeboshi plums, naruto fishcake, ramen noodles). They have sushi/sashimi ingredients, wagashi various mochi, cakes, and other sweets from Japan in the freezer that you cannot find elsewhere (e.g., baumkuchen, castella, dorayaki, sakuramochi, etc.), and a selection of premium green teas. They have many popular condiments and ingredients for Japanese cooking. I love that I can get the kirimochi (dry mochi blocks) at a good price here! I especially like the ramen noodles and they have the perfect texture. They sell chashu pork too, for ramen, but we prefer to make our own. As for sushi, I had the chirashi roll and spider roll and they are so fresh and so good! It is pricy for portion size but you pay premium for the Japanese sushi chefs working here and quality of the food. :D I would skip the takoyaki. It is okay tasting, but nothing noteworthy. I am not sure if they make it in-house because a lot of places in the city buy them frozen and just refry them or bake them.
